You're not alone. I have two Xboxes that basically function as Blu-ray players now :-) I still think I have a couple of my VHS to DVD converter decks in the Attic. Great rest of your day. I have to go buy soup it's two for one at the local supermarket and money is tight these days.

As a Marvel, Star Wars, Star Trek stan cutting those streaming services has been difficult beyond belief. I cannot imagine parents having to go through the same decisions. But this is an opportunity to start looking at our own cultural touch points outside of a corporate frame of reference.

Music or quiet is a nice change from our overstimulated brains in the 21st century. I laugh at myself as I have YouTube playing in the background as I voice type this to you.

As for my tainted Corporation media I still have Amazon Prime and YouTube and Pluto TV which is owned I Believe by Paramount partially.

It was a group package at a discounted rate. This may be my actual opportunity to become less junky on streaming and go back to reading more books and having a life outside of my television.

Canceled my Disney+, Hulu, and HBO Max 2 days ago. Canceled my Paramount+ when they canceled Colbert. I have two bookcases full of half-read books. It's time to get back to reading.

If we get through the next election cycle laws and rules can be changed to avoid this in the future. I've been saying this for 30 years the entire election system needs to be overhauled to take money and influence out. Plus at least third party voting machines
