Violence against women and girls (VAWG) refers to the violence that disproportionately affects women and girls in our society. This violence is rooted in gender inequality and power imbalances as a result of the patriarchy. It can take many forms — domestic, financial, physical and sexual.

#IamAPHRC, with the British Academy Award, has launched a 1 year project to strengthen evidence use & HMIS data for adolescent SRH policymaking in 6 Kenyan counties. The inception workshop highlighted the need to build county capacity for evidence generation, analysis, & use.

It was a nice session with adolescents from KE 641 Child Development Centre Mazeras, talking on issues of growth and development during adolescences, empowering these little one is meant to shape healthier communities and upcoming generations free from drugs abuse and Teenage Pregnancies
