I love these things. I always assumed they were beyond the capabilities of the Elk.

I’m glad I’m not the only one to have done this.

Got mine from Pimoroni this week. It goes very nicely with my Pi Zero 2. Quick question: is there a caps lock function?

I work for a ticketing website. It does work.

A box of kinetic sand is the correct gift here.

Is is just me that finds the mix of converging and non-converging lines disturbing?

Just what I’ve been waiting for. Will these be available at Pimoroni in the UK?

Night Driver on the Atari 2600.

It will always be the Elk. I got one for Christmas in 1984 when I was 10 because I was desperate to learn programming. Later migrated to the Master 128 with a disc drive. I finally got myself a Plus 3 this week!

Again, yes, but Labour need better comms to help counter that. Blaming an increase in taxes in a 2025 budget on Brexit sounds like a poor excuse (and this is coming from someone who agrees that Brexit has made us considerably poorer).

That might be true, but it’s not how many of the electorate will see it.

I’d be *very* interested in this. I’m planning to get round to re-learning 6502 assembler. I knew it as a teenager but never managed to complete a game - just a load of unfinished projects, so a focus on games and modern tools would be great.
October 11, 2025 at 10:59 AM
This is true, but it will just look like Labour blaming other people yet again.

Really useful to get an insight into the coding process. I’ve been meaning to re-learn 6502 assembler for a while, but one of the things I struggled with BITD was how to structure a game.

And if they say no, you’re stuck waiting for a taxi while your food goes cold.

This is actually mid 1980s. It’s been shared on some local Facebook groups, too.

I think a lot of them have probably died.

There’s some logic to having an insider from the right-wing press to help the government gets its message across. I can understand the concerns though.

Can’t wait to see this!
July 4, 2025 at 6:57 PM
Yes. In my head it was to the tune of Chiquitita as well.

That’s great news. Thanks!

I cannot wait to play this. I love the combination of old-school Chuckie Egg gfx and the kind of gameplay we’ve become accustomed to on mobile games from the last decade. I think it’s destined to become a modern classic.

This is going to get awkward when one of them turns out to be Spanish.
