Back in the day, the TECO text editor had an Easter egg, purportedly the first digital one, where when asked to “make love” (i.e. make the file “love”), it would respond with “not war?” before proceeding as normal.

We flew over on China Airlines, which is Taiwanese, so we had an 8-hour layover in the city. We decided to spend that time exploring part of the area. We took the train to Dihua Old Street on an unusually warm and stormy day.
