This is going to be the Blackish Black History Month to have ever Black Historied! The OGs have had it! My 85 yr old Pastor just said, “…I’m Black and I’m proud!”

The dismantling of DEI efforts and civil rights feels personal. These initiatives were about creating opportunities for all of God’s children to thrive, rooted in justice, mercy, and humility. Yet, dedicated public servants are being dismissed without acknowledgment, while history is being erased.

For historians/ppl who know history: did the German public who were complicit with the rise of nazism ever realize they were the bad guys? After the end of the war, did the public by & large understand they were wrong? Or were they just upset they lost? I know you can’t generalize to everyone but…
