It made me cry. It didn't feel like the end though, one of the lovely things about his books is being able to just pick up any of them and thoroughly enjoy it. There's a very beautiful end for a character in it though, which deserves to be read

Same here, mine stayed solidly on my nails - you can always chuck on a clear top coat as well for peace of mind
