Apparently Kevin Roberts has rescheduled his speaking engagement at UMB for Monday. Time to give him a warm charm city welcome.

Third finish of 2025. There’s some good information in here especially on eating foods in the right order to balance blood sugar. I checked this out on Libby and then ran out of time but found it on Spotify premium so several free options are available. #booksky #glucoserevolution #2025book3

Even though I know there is not a third book, I bought the second one because I cannot stop thinking about Sower. #booksky #currentread

“Preborn babies” 🤣 I have zero clue how I got on this list and I don’t live in Andy Harris’ district. Also yay Andy for not defunding women’s healthcare!

My simple pleasure today is having leftover PTO after my dentist appointment so now I am not logging in to work for another 90 minutes. I am sitting on the couch with my dogs reading. And it’s a book and not a peer reviewed research article or textbook this time. Joy. #booksky

Keeping in line with my small pleasures in 2025, there is a local honey/beekeeping garden center near me and I just went for the first time. My #herbalist heart is ready to infuse all the things in honey.

We did a bit of abandoned building exploring today at Yellow Dog Village. They offer self-guided tours once a month in case you also like exploring abandoned building and want to keep a clean record.
