Snow in Kochi and Tokushima prefectures, Japan. These prefectures are in the southern island of Shikoku, known for its warm climate and famous for citrus. This level of snowfall, let alone any, is extremely rare. Not an easy shot from a rickety train window while moving! #Japan #四国 #snowfall

The fact that the guy who tried to shoot Trump during the campaign and this guy were both active Trump *supporters* points to the very real possibility of continued violence by MAGA supporters who feel cheated or disappointed by their man.

Growing up Asian American and Mormon was a huge double-whammy. I dealt with all sorts of racist stuff in the church while also dealing with being the weird kid at school for being Mormon. The two are two identities I never asked for that were always at odds with each other.

This week I am interpreting between some American visitors and Japanese co-workers. My co-workers asked me to translated “when needed.” The first half of day 1, they kept nodding their heads like they understood what was going on, and I was surprised at how much they seemed to get. 1/2
