Everything is a puppet… if you know how to pull the strings.
I’m just going to keep randomly posting my puppets until an audience here appears :)

Saturday night ending up a little bit different. Anyone have a quarter so I can make a phone call?

Last month rebuilding my workshop area has been utter chaos.

The workshop has needed a ton of work. The irony wasn’t lost of me. So the past month I got to it.

Nothing a few fully dedicated days can’t make a dent in. Sealed, sanded, painted, stained, fixed, realigned, you name it, I did it.

The Myth of Someday is the biggest lie you’ve been sold. If you don’t start now, you probably never will.

Amazing day at the Basketball HOF today. More pics when I get home tomorrow. The kid did a clinic on the HOF court too that was amazing. 🏀🤘🏻🧡💙

Operation “no more pink” in full effect. All honor roll at school for 7th = full room redo.

Paints done. Furniture back in. 3 instruments hung on wall. Now we’re up to shelves and art. Week long project almost coming to its conclusion.

Sad seeing the pink go but onward and upward.

After legendary singer David Coverdale of Whitesnake said he drinks Yorkshire tea exclusively I figure hey why the hell not. Let's give it a shot. Here's my journey into trying tea for the first time in 40 years lol.

Every day is a good day for more music gear. Today we found this in the attic while cleaning out the kids room preparing for a makeover.

Yup. She brought it down and will set it up later tonight in her little studio corner of her room. You can never have too many micro controllers!

Just hanging at the park this morning. Reminded how consistency is key to everything. Your career, your fitness… doesn’t matter. Consistency is always key.

I’ve owned this MXL 990 mic for 20+ years now as my main mic. I run it through PreSonus interface and have recorded vocals for commercials, puppet videos, live streaming, and every day zoom meetings.

Every once in a while you get a bulletproof piece of gear you can’t live without. That’s the MXL990

Rest in Power Ozzy.

The Prince of Darkness got so many of us into music and metal.

As a metal kid of the 70s and 80s his music was an integral part of growing up. Thank you Ozzy and the Osbourne family for sharing him with us all these years.

Satanic panic my ass. Metal = Family

Cranking some Quiet Riot QRIII right now, their third album dropped in 1986 and it was truly seeing into the future. Shame we lost Kevin so early and Frankie more recently and Randy Rhodes during their infancy after he left for Ozzy.

Take a listen: https://f.mtr.cool/ieatzayllt

One of the old haunts… the Right Track Inn that was located at 40 West Merrick Road at the north west corner of Merrick Road and Church Street. All the local metal bands and friends played here. Legends like Joan Jett, the Ramones, Stray Cats all came through too. Amazing times!

I’m an adidas guy. It’s my jam, my style, I have more pairs than I care to admit. But when I’m at the gym or working out I end up in “style fit” and don’t get me wrong I know they make workout sneakers.

But then I tried Brooks and the Adrenaline GTS 24 model sneaker.

Holy shit. I’m hooked.

After a dastardly battle with Covid I decided it’s time to get my shit together. I might “be good” as they say.. but I feel like it’s not good enough.

Join me in the journey. 🤘🏻😜🤘🏻

What’s worse… Getting caught cheating, or getting caught going to a Coldplay show?

Took the kid to see her awesome guitar / bass teacher Cody Hosza rock out with his band Wreath of Tongues this evening. So thankful we met him 6 years ago and he’s been teaching her music ever since.

Appreciate the legends in your life.

Happy Tuesday. Here’s your reminder to work hard but always keep the real goals in sight. It’s not living if it’s done 2000+ hours a year in a cubicle and weeks worth of commuting time.

Get out there. Breathe the air. Hell take a lunch break at the park not the parking lot.

Growing up in NY in the 70s and 80s Crazy Eddies was a staple of life! His commercials (starring local DJ Jerry Carroll) had a wild series of commercials including “Christmas in August”

Eventually the ship sailed, we all moved on. But his prices will always be… Insane!

Remote work sucks. Said nobody who can get to this view in under 10 minutes.

But let your corporate masters keep convincing you the cubicle is the way. Or dont. And join me on the sand.

If Clyde went missing, you’d see posters.

If your brand disappeared... would anyone even notice?

Safe ≠ memorable.
Consistent ≠ compelling.

Be louder. Be bolder. Be unforgettable.
Or get swept up like foam in the wind.
