You asked “why,” I answered why. “Why does something happen,” and “should something happen” are two different questions. I never said it wasn’t biased. You’re having a one sided argument on that 😂

This isn’t an opinion. You can google to see if drugs testing is ever required by state law or hospital policy.

There’s over half a million college and pro athletes in this country and there’s been maybe a dozen accusations or scandals in the 7 years since sports gambling has been legalized and there was betting scandals before too legalization too. Banning it won’t stop anything

There’s certain circumstances where it may be required either by state law or hospital policy. It’s usually if there are complications associated with drug use or other signs. They test so they can treat the baby if it’s born addicted

I’m not a lawyer but I think you’d have a hard time proving standing seeing as you can’t prove you’re the father with DNA

I know it was first and it shouldn’t be first anymore. I’m not talking about Iowa at all. All I’m saying is that South Carolina shouldn’t be first, Georgia should. Georgia has a bigger Black population both in overall size and per capita, and it’s a relevant state to the Dems in the general

2012 but when did I say Iowa should be first?
July 21, 2025 at 7:38 PM
What the hell are you talking about? I didn’t mention history or democracy at all. I’m talking about the future. We have no chance of winning South Carolina in 28, so it makes no sense to place so much emphasis on them. It makes way more sense platform Georgia

Yeah but he won the office that was previously held by his own father just 4 years prior and his father was a popular governor. I’m not saying Andy isn’t talented in his own right but I think his talent may be Kentucky specific
July 21, 2025 at 1:05 PM
That’s true but the problem is with South Carolina, not Black folks. Georgia has more Black citizens and a higher percentage of the state is Black and it’s a swing state that’s actually winnable by Dems. The truth is we shouldn’t have one primary at a time. We should vote as a country on one day

You don’t need to have held any specific job previously but you should have some sort of life experience and it’s just really hard to believe anyone can have that experience at 25. Jobs are one of the ways you can overcome that hurdle and prove you understand the community

Biden had also been a public defender. He brought experience to the table despite being young. Foxx didn’t bring any experience to the table. Youth is great but it can’t just be any young person with a social media following
July 16, 2025 at 1:59 PM
Because her opponent (who crushed her) is equally progressive but with actual experience. Foxx didn’t have the experience or even real policy goals. Her website reads like “everyone should have housing!” but provides no context on how to get there.

They said the same thing in Massachusetts when we were passing the millionaires tax a few years ago. We have more millionaires today than we did then and the tax is producing more revenue than expected. Nobody left. Where are they gunna go? Crazy ass red states?
July 15, 2025 at 3:47 PM
It’s the same argument people used in Massachusetts when we passed the Millionaire’s Tax. You know what happened? Nobody left and the tax has outproduced the highest estimates. Don’t fall for the rich folks’ propaganda

Justices don’t just vote on cases. They discuss and debate them. 1 less liberal on the court is 1 less voice who could potentially sway other justices to vote our way. And saying she failed us by not resigning at the appropriate time isn’t saying she failed as a justice. They’re two different things

Apps for these types of devices are useful for people with disabilities that can’t use the controls on the device. I don’t know what the controls look like on this specific device but so many items come with touch screens that don’t work for blind people. Others might not be able to turn knobs

Nope, their private addresses are typically public. In my state their address is printed on the ballot under their name. I can still google the sample ballot from last cycle and find the governors home address in a few seconds
June 17, 2025 at 1:35 AM
Not to discredit your larger point but it’s generally pretty easy to find the address of elected officials. In my state it’s listed under their name on the ballot. It’s also usually on the petitions they submit to get on the ballot and on other publicly available documents like financial disclosures

Insulting people who want to support your cause because they didn’t do it early enough will do nothing to grow your movement to a point where actual change can happen. Stop gatekeeping
June 12, 2025 at 7:39 PM
Because it happens every cycle, most people just don’t pay attention. Ayanna Presley won by challenging an incumbent simply because the demos of the district changed and he was no longer a good rep for that district. He was good overall, just not for that district. This happens all the time
