so glad I can be learning Rust from the experts at Adobe, their beautiful elegant code is really an inspiration 😊
I dunno, from the outside it feels like we're two papers away at any point from being like "oh, it turns out we only need 5% of the compute that we thought we did" and then I gotta assume some projects are getting cancelled, there's a reason they weren't doing this five years ago

And the footnote. @dholms.xyz @bnewbold.net @why.bsky.team Not a serious plan I'm suggesting, but out of curiosity am I right about this? Like it's technically possible to do a partial MST sync without revealing the data in the leaf nodes but you'd leak information about the structure of the tree?

Suspicious OVHCloud pricing: they theoretically offer a VPS with 1 Gbps of unmetered bandwidth for $6.75/month. Uh huh. But then the price to upgrade one of their bare-metal servers from 3 Gbps to 4 Gbps is $220/month. One of these numbers is a lie and I bet it's not the one that's an insane deal
