But also the Democratic party needs to invest and think about *how* to communicate with voters. Republicans/the right dominate the main ways to reach voters and Dems need to stop being caught in their heels constantly.

My 2 year old has been obsessed with this movie so I’ve seen it countless times over the past year. What has always struck me is how insanely good it looks—not just for being 90 years old, but in absolute terms. It’s a travesty they fucked with it.

I suspect (though it’s conjecture) that it’s also gotten far worse in the past 10 years given that anyone can find some asshole with a platform somewhere that echoes their stupid beliefs, which didn’t exist in nearly the same capacity before. And probably explains many of our current issues.
