Have to get get new glasses. On my last back up pair now (and they’re like 10 years old). I’m looking at this pair here and well, at least I’d still be able to see them when I take them off lolol

Remember kiddos if you are bad at something spend a few years dodging it and then decide out of spite that you are determined to become halfway decent at the thing so you start doing the thing whenever it walks in the door. And sooner or later your work will be passable!

One breed I have always struggled with grooming wise is Yorkies. Especially their heads. And to say I am so fricken proud of this groom is a huge understatement

Talk about a throwback! One of the aunts sent this photo of me and the parents. I had to have still been in elementary because my hair was still super straight and I’m not wearing my glasses lol. I use to only wear them at school then and just be all blurry eyed at home lmao

I had the most difficult groom I have ever participated in this week.
Sheas was apparently missing for a few months before she was found.
It took hours to set her free from her coat. The smell was so bad .
I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get through the hair.

I had the most difficult groom I have ever participated in this week.

Finally got around to bathing River (ya know instead of one of the Poms I need to do lol)
He would only let me use the lowest of low settings to dry him tonight. So we aremostly dry.
Despite all of that I know he mostly enjoys his grooming. He’s all purrs and trying to groom my head right now lol.

Groomed a dog earlier this week. Found some wire caught up in his tail hai. Glad it wasn’t hurting him or my clippers. He was a big boy. But he was a very good boy.

Got the River Cat a new brush. He’s a big fan of it.
He will put up with most things when it comes to grooming but he REALLY liked this one.
And as you can see we got a good bit of hair out in a short session.

I have to start making some more money. Cat food is so expensive lmao.
River has been doing good on his science diet when 1-6yo food but I’m not the hugest fan of SD.
So I’m looking at other brands but I also have to keep in mind his “little bout “ of hepatic lipidosis that happened.

I peopled way too hard this week and my social battery is at zero. But it was worth it.
A much missed friend was in town for a wedding which lined up well with my birthday. So we went to the zoo then got the old work crew together for dinner for my birthday.And then the wedding rounded out the week
