There’s something very 2nd Doctor about her facade of studied harmlessness and absent-mindedness. My favourite bit of business is when she kicks her ball of yarn under George Baker’s chair in “Bertram’s” to engineer an excuse to talk to him! And of course, she clocks that he’s police right away 😁

Lucy’s romance storyline made no sense to me. She’s so independent and assured, and much more interesting than either of her suitors - the creep and the Labrador. Almost like Christie lost confidence in the character?

I must’ve blanked that! Also the age gap seemed inappropriate, but played by an actress much older than the character? That weirded me out

I’m a bit bereft now that it’s complete. What a wonderful portrayal by Hickson - I have such a deep fondness for her. Probably because she’s the absolute spit of my late Nan.

The only one that I’ve read but not seen. Not sure if that’s the reason that the murderer seemed pretty obvious to me from the outset? But loved seeing Dolly again - I’d happily have watched a whole series pairing the both. And Jane’s tenderness to Jason at the end was lovely.

Holly Aird is fab, and the end scene with Jane and the sisters watching old films of themselves is poignant ❤️

Absolutely, completely enthralled with this as a child when I found it on my older sister’s bookshelf. Particularly spooked by the ghostwood (?) stuff and the creepy antler guy on the cover
