I actually read English is one of her first languages and that she grew up regularly speaking English at home. But if she hadn’t that would be amazing

this book is captivating. It’s so controlled in its prose, it feels elegant, restrained, the tension is so wonderfully written.

Found it to be a beautiful, otherworldly read. Loved the message of appreciating the small details in life and freeing your mind of complications and ego, beauty is to be found even in the most simple places (that’s what I got from it anyway)
