Scientist, Dad, Husband, and oh so sarcastic.
It's "Working Group", not that it lends any added credibility to the wild claims he's now making...

Sandra Fryhofer - liaison to a little organization known as the American Medical Association.

Amazing that they'd cut her off like that. But maybe not, given the level of "experts" we're working with here

She is the AMA liaison.

And they cut her off.

I thought the new ACIP was all about debate? But won't even listen to the AMA for 30 seconds...

One *almost* gets the sense that this new "expert" committee, isn't.../s

One did - Cody Meissner. God bless the poor Dr for trying to bring some sanity to these utterly unreal proceedings all day.

We all know their names, though. Can someone let the civil servants know?

It's also going to make it a hell of a lot easier for them to identify potential leakers/resistance/troublemakers...

This - I know people who are on the ASD spectrum. You know what none of them has ever done??
Give two Nazi salutes within 10 seconds while on live TV, that's what. Even if Musk is neurodivergent, it's no excuse.

Boy, it's a good thing no-one has codified that POTUS has absolute immunity against breaking laws in the course of his duties then...

Oh.
February 3, 2025 at 5:49 PM
Exactly, and now USAID *de facto* no longer exists as an agency, and Musk has the ability to stop any funding he wishes directly via the Treasury.
All probably illegal, but that's irrelevant because POTUS has absolute immunity thanks to SCOTUS.

Well, I guarantee you that every Fed is watching the USAID situation closely to see what support those civil servants receive in the face of Musk and Trump illegally shuttering their agency, before deciding if personal sacrifice is worth it. So far, the country is more interested in Beyonce.

Congress? Hello—federal workers here. We are struggling to fight all of this on our own.

For what? Every career Fed who has told these people "No" has been fired within hours, and Musk's cronies have not been stopped from accessing anything by it.
Until there's some kind of organized opposition to what's going on, you can't ask other people to sacrifice their livelihoods/freedom.
