Welsh front end web dev and one time animator. Big on cartoons, smart home and the web.
I'm not surprised, other mcps have turbo charged so much of my output whilst maintaining quality and having that for storybook is going to be game changing.

They have some good looking sets. We've tried some alternatives to lego, but often find the bricks frustrating, and instructions difficult to follow. I do really love lego but would try something else if they can match lego's quality.

Thankfully, I have only had to use popover + anchor positioning + web component light dom. Think I'll wait a few more browser releases before giving that combination a try

Cool! I have a few clients that are using react components but are all on v8 and would need a lot of work to get up to v10. I'll see if I can get the upgrades moved up the backlog priority

If I'm talking to other front end devs I'll say "custom properties", if it's anyone else it's "css variables", in case they stop me with a "Actually... their proper name is..."

Shame it's only for React libraries, would you consider a web component or other libraries in the future as part of the trial?

Wiring up some lights from "Game of Bricks". Not much left to do before I bring it out of the attic and into our living room, after Halloween of course #lego #wintervillage

All for their new expensive form factor no one really likes. I love this video from Figma config when they tried to get people excited about the vision pro, and no one cared 😂

Been using it recently. And found an excellent, easy to use polyfill for browsers that don't support it github.com/tak-dcxi/dia...
GitHub - tak-dcxi/dialog-closedby-polyfill: A polyfill for the HTMLDialogElement closedBy attribute, providing control over how modal dialogs can be dismissed.

I hear this on my doorstep each election, even though Labour always end up in third position. Everytime they say it I tell them if they don't like it support STV

Been using mine for over a year, and love them! The pov style photos I have from days out and experiences are some of my favourites. I'm not being gross with them, and someone doesn't need these to be gross. This article was an influence on my decision to buy them www.theverge.com/23922425/ray...
The Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses actually make the future look cool
Still a novelty, but one that people might actually use.
