My first post to Bluesky; a sublime scene I photographed from the interior of the Mourne Mountains, Ireland.
A view of Slieve Beg, Cove Mountain, and Slieve Lamagan from on the Brandy Pad, near to The Castles. It’s dawn. The clouds drifting over the summits have hues of pink and gold. There is a pathway leading towards the mountains that are lined with the deep purple blooms of Heather. The slopes of the mountains are blanketed with green heath.

Today I hiked to Eagle Mountain, the Western Mourne Mountains, Ireland. No Eagles seen. But a pair of Peregrine Falcons had a jostle in the sky above the frosty summit.

HMS Nomadic is lit with red lights against its yellow funnel and whitewash passenger ways as it rest in Hamilton Drydock. The golden light of sunrise illuminates the sides of the vessel and the cobble stones of the quayside. In the background, the Harland and Wolff Drawing Rooms and the Titanic Visitor Centre are bathed in the same sublime light. Over all of this, a beautifully painted sunrise sky with clouds tinted with hues of pink, gold, umber, and russets, set the scene for a perfect morning start.
