Supply & demand. If demand goes up (e.g. due to more power-hungry data centers), price per unit goes up.

Genuine question, how is this even measured (or measureable)? We have devs using a range of tools (Cursor, Copilot etc), and I have no idea how we would work out what proportion of code shipped is AI-generated.

And I'm fairly sure it's worse in the other direction - i.e. UK companies trying to sell to European customers.

Particularly frustrating when it's self inflicted (UK - Brexit). Used to be very easy to order from Europe, now nigh on impossible. Have previously had to order goods for delivery to relatives living in France, then collect when I next see them. Free trade = good.
