Personally, I think Trump can deflect the challenges internal to US. A Venezuelan civil war with US troops being attacked will push Trump into total chaos. Mechado and her supporters want something for the gift that they won't get. He has opened a Pandora's box that deflection and lies won't shut.

Are others following suit? Given what Musk is now offering on X it does rather make a mockery of the Women in STEM article they have on their website. Surely standing up and doing something makes a bigger statement about how the Society view and support women than this lilly-livered response.

On your last point. The heavy oil is a replacement for Canadian heavy oil sands crude. The US refining industry needs a replacement if Trump wants to cripple the Canadian economy. The only other option was Russian. It has nothing to do with profits and everything to do with future continental plans.

Hillingdon looks impossible to predict. Definitely a strong swing to Reform but the Conservative vote holding up in the Asian community. Labour vote being split in all directions. As a consequence the anti-Reform vote has no obvious home.

This guy from our tree would be up for that. He's 16 years old and was down to one eye at one point. But he staggers on each year.
