#BACO2025: Great science, good networking and very friendly atmosphere! We were warmly welcomed here in Busan, Republic of Korea, by the local organizers. We arranged a special session marking the 🏔❄️ #Glaciers2025 and had a plenary meeting & ECR lunch. IACS also arranged its annual meeting.

The IACS president @lissand.bsky.social, Secretary General Richard Essery and Vice-President @andrewmackintosh.bsky.social are participating at the IUGG Business Meeting in Incheon, Korea, this week. In July 2027, the next IUGG Assembly will take place at Songdo ConvensiA.

The Karthaus 2025 Summer School on Ice Sheets and Glaciers in the Climate System took place on 19-29 May in Karthaus, Italy. IACS was one of the sponsors. Totally 36 students and 10 teachers participated representing 30 institutes & 15 different countries.
