Beyblade X is the current generation running. The stadium has a serrated ridge that connects to the bottom of the bey allowing for faster attacks.

They made a new version about two years ago that has a pretty strong showing for local scenes.

Customizing has always been a big part of the game for competitive play, but the companies have tried to promote competition more directly this time around which is nice (except for how the world tournament was organized for the west lol). There are a lot of unofficial local venues now though.

Phoenix is still really good. You have to launch harder for those matchups to have a better chance of getting the knockouts, but it’s doable. 1-60 is common for the weight shift assisting in hits alongside ko recovery, but 5-60 is also good for more balance, and I used that for my first top 8.
