This nonsense would not have been written about a male chancellor. Ashamed of all journalists involved in this. Shame that there wasn’t the same sort of media witch-hunt when Jeremy Hunt left a big hole in the finances when he reduced NI to try to bribe the electorate into voting Tory.

The BNG requirements are insane in small plots and do very little for the environment and just make housing much more expensive. Just more NIMBY bullshit.

It’s one of those songs where I thought it was just me who loved it. Dark, bittersweet and beautiful. When the song seems like it’s finished but comes back, but more intense, is one of the best musical experiences anywhere. Another favourite of that genre is Echobelly’s Dark Therapy.

My wife worked for seven years at a county council and was there when UKIP won a raft of council seats. They weren’t interested in ‘being’ councillors as that required effort and most of them had gone within a year or so. Don’t see reform as being any different.

It took 24 hours because they were looking at the reaction to see whether they would own it or call it out. The initial statement yesterday half owned it but now they have seen the uproar they have decided to be tough. I am ashamed of them.
