He/him. SCA rapier fighter, n00b guitarist, occasional chirurgeon. Formerly a soldier, an applications engineer for an epoxy company, and a chemical lab technician; Camp Myeerah alumni. I enjoy books! And music! And observing wildlife!
I've liked this meme for quite some time now. 😁 For numerous reasons, actually.

It's just a nice relaxing walk in the woods! Besides, Charlie will protect you. 🤣

What's that you say? "...one of the biggest lies ever told by this administration?"
Likely true, but only the biggest lie... so far. Give him time. 😧

I love it!
Not sure if the image below will help them, but perhaps a little Googling of the caption will. 😜
Good job, all around!

It was my Army Guard unit. We had been called up for service in Desert Shield. We wouldn't be back for 9 months.

Well, of course it's Biden's fault. I mean, really, what isn't? <end sarcasm>

Because no one wants this in their timeline. (Also, while I'm past 50, maybe I should check with my doc.)

Ooh, repurposing! I LIKE that idea! And a larger one would be a big hit at certain, uh, public outdoor meetings. Like No Kings, for instance.
Besides, the organic, homegrown ones might be feeling a little tired and need a break.

As a first responder, I cannot recommend ingestion. My dear Derek, think of the microfibers! Not good for you at all. Sadly, they must be tossed; unsure if there's an environmentally sound disposal method.

Well, at least he's been consistent.

In recompense, I offer this shot taken earlier today. The green tarp covers an archery target, but look more closely at the fence just behind the target. You'll find the fence posts flanking the target are topped by squirrel finials. 😁

Some of us remember this little number from a few years back. The leopard doesn't change its spots.

Femurs are *weird*; straight (mostly) until we get close to the hip socket. Then you have this big ol' angle going on.
As a fencer and a first responder, I use a (plastic!!) one as my Weird Parry Device, when called upon to do so.

Wildlife Inventory: 6 rabbits, 2 deer! 58°F, partly cloudy skies (well past sunset), calm winds. They appeared to be two does, and once spotted, watched for a while and then sauntered back into the trees. Spotted near a woodlot between houses, just in front of the house on the left.

While a dear friend recovers from surgery, we "assist" by performing a Peep ceremony, during which the Peep is consumed (usually by fire, but we can get creative.
So below is my latest contribution to my friend's continued restoration.

To be honest, so help me, I do rather like the Bell. No matter what anyone says.

But they will figure it out eventually, though it depends upon who we're talking about. The ones who didn't vote last time are probably catching on. Some Republicans are too. The MAGA sorts will be in denial long after the leopards have eaten their faces off and are working their way further down.

So about those tariffs and all. Remember these signs? Yeah, me too.

And yet, all of us in health care, and more than a few other professions, will have something to say about that.

My postcards all have blank backs on them, so I had to provide the graphics myself. Since 🧠🪱 doesn't believe in germ theory...

Are we great again yet?
Because most of us remember dozens of these damn signs, and every one of them were lies.

This fellow right here. I must say, they're less skittish than bunnies! And much less skittish than woodchucks. (You'll believe a loaf can fly!)
