In South Korean presidential elections, you have two full days (6 am to 6pm) of early voting and polls open until 8pm on Election Day which is a national holiday.

So that you can take part in democracy without having to wait for hours or rush to the polls after work 🗳️

A record-breaking 8.7% early voting turnout in South Korea (as of noon) despite election fraud allegations pushed by the president who declared martial law & his loyal supporters.

Daegu, a conservative PPP stronghold, has the lowest turnout so far.

South Koreans are pretty good at protesting. Most protests here are well-organized, peaceful and cheery with lots of singing and dancing involved.

Take this for example: Microsoft Korea workers protesting for a wage hike with a live band outside the office last month. 🎸
