Wonderful episode of Apocalypse Hotel this week! With little to no dialogue, we got a funny melancholy break with introspection on mortality and peaceful vibes. Also 2D animated animals!

The cliffhanger ending for this week’s episode of Shoshimin was so particularly cruel, I gasped! Can’t wait for the finale next week!

Saw Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuux in theaters tonight, I was blown away! Definitely feels like an Anno story following his work on the “Shin ___” movies, can’t wait for the actual series to start airing!

Zenshu episode 2 - The day is saved by Natsuko animating an Itano Circus sequence! Amazing! 😆

Dandadan ep 7 - I forgot how sad this particular backstory was, but Science Saru did an amazing job presenting it in a way that wrecked me all over again 😭

Dragon Ball Daima episode 1 was interesting setup, but now I’m fully onboard with episode 2! It does a way better job than DBGT of recapturing the feel of OG DB, from humor to the spirit of adventure! I’m so excited to see where the series goes! 😄
