Depends on where you're at locally. We are running someone in my municipality and we have a national candidate.

Hi babe!

Once it became clear to me that the Democratic Party was not a viable vehicle for grassroots collective action, I found a group that was better suited for me.

Sitting on my thumbs and whining, am I? This type of contempt and sneering is the exact problem.

Not that you bothered to ask, but I actually do progressive community outreach on a regular basis.

That's not pragmatism. I don't like what the Democrats are offering, and I'm not alone. Therefore, RIGHT NOW is the time for the Democratic Party to get pragmatic and offer the people a candidate we like. If they don't offer a candidate we like, they don't get our votes. That's how democracy works.

Like... I don't believe elections should be about Biden or Trump, and I don't think they should be about Democrat or Republican. I think elections should be about the people.

As I see it, the issue there is that the Democratic Party holds a lot of political power, and they wield it to make sure that I don't have any good choices.

Should local Dems suffer for Biden? Idk. I think it's incumbent on the Party, with its wealth and power, to offer palatable choices to voters
November 6, 2023 at 5:23 PM
I see the Democratic party trying to suffocate the options I like to corral me into voting for Biden, who I despise, and I think my only real option here is to sit this one out. I'm by far not the only person thinking this way.
November 6, 2023 at 4:51 PM
Dislike of Biden is indeed leading left-leaning voters to look more closely at the Democratic Party as a whole, and we do not like what we see. No, I don't have math on this, but it's a real thing.
