For Time (Take Your Time), i was initially worried it would turn out to br another somewhat forgettable club mix, but there’s a lot here about how he feels about his newfound success as well as his relationships with others and how those relationships have changed. Not in my top 5 but its okay

Not to mention a self-awareness and a betrayal of self showing his anxiety of his newfound success in 1995. Between Popstar and Time (Take Your Time), it’s obvious he isn’t used to fame yet at all which is so real

Popstar feels like it was inspired musically by Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangsta by Geto Boys, but with that signature Scatman John sparkle and joy, almost turning it into a doo-wop and it just… it works. I feel like Mike Judge would have used it in *something*. Like a KOTH movie or something.

Sing Now! makes me think of that ddr song that you can’t help but love on a core level, however the easiest challenge ranking is still a couple levels above where you feel competent so you’re barely hanging on

Scatman (ski-ba-bop-ba-dop-bop) feels like a song made almost purpose-built for late 90s club mixes and that’s not a bad thing. Just kinda pales in comparison to everything else so far

Quiet Desperation makes me think of late nights in college where i’d walk across town after closing up the store for the night and not another soul was in sight while walking past all the closed stores at 1am. Like… perfect vibes for songs that sound happier than you but the lyrics are sadder

Only You feels like a video game credits song from like 2005 in the best way. Like a sony major developer mascot platformer but decidedly in the ps2 generation. You know the type: the game leaves a lot to be desired but the finale songs all fuck severely. Like way more than deserved

Everyone around me seems skeptical at best about prime 4 but im kinda hyped tbh

Akko’s got some pretty good ones. My personal favorite is the 5108B Plus (specifically the Kuromi one). It’s got a full size keyboard with a numpad, hotswappable switches (if you dont like linears), it’s wireless (2.4G *and* BT), and it’s got PC and Mac support with the flip of a switch.
