Weird Al was the first music I really got into, and I loved this song years before I had ever heard any of their stuff (besides the songs on Tiny Tunes). I later became a huge TMBG fan and many years later when I realized that this song was a style parody, lemme tell ya - a lot of things made sense

It is definitely cyclical, but I do think the world is dramatically different now compared to how it was even 15 years ago, in a way that transcends the "things used to be so much better then" generational nostalgia for a time they didn't experience, just due to smart phones and social media alone.

I got one for the first time probably 12 years ago based on the widespread hype.
After eating it I had to hand it to McD's for being psyops masters because it was literally the worst fast food item I have ever consumed.
