I'm probably in the minority, but the LOTR books were awful.
The movies were good, but the books were WAY too drawn out. Ludicrously so.
And it starts with a few pages about a tree. An effing tree!
At least The Hobbit was a good read, and the movies were fun.
Also, f*ck Felon Musk!
