that's actually because tenor gifs are mp4s that just embed differently! gifs are horribly optimized, so most sites opt to do that instead.

little update on one of them
i know him irl, and he streams a lot on twitch. one of his viewers has gifted him the game on Steam a few days before, but he had barely touched it yet. i was talking to him about the game on christmas eve, and i mentioned that there was a mobile version

uploading gifs in general doesn't entirely work, not just when it's multiple
it's because they're normally embedded as videos instead when you use the gif picker, because gifs are so horribly unoptimized and if you've ever looked at a gif on discord mobile that wasn't a tenor gif you can see why lol
