I think it is important in this moment to educate everyone on how vaccines actually work. I remember as a child learning the science of how the body reacts to vaccines by generating antibodies that fight viruses. It’s pretty interesting stuff, and easy to understand.

Moral of the story is: private enterprise is more expensive. We need to bring back public works departments who traditionally did the job for much less since there is no profit or shareholders to pay off.

Blue states contribute about 60% of federal revenue. Red states receive about 1.5 times their contribution back thru Medicaid and food assistance and education grants. It’s been a way to level the opportunity gaps for poor states for a long time. This idea - while justified, will cause suffering.
