It wouldn't be a trip to Japan without some cherry blossoms - even in winter you can find some fuyuzakura blossoming. (These were in Ueno park, along with the last of the red maple leaves.)

Enjoyed my trip to the UK - though I gotta say, there was a lot more rain than these pics let on. Pack a good umbrella!
And if you enjoy Studio Ghibli, go watch the stage production of My Neighbor Totoro... no pics of that as they asked nicely for us not to photograph it :-).

Took the pup around Monhegan today. First ever boat ride - I think he liked it! The hike left him pretty hot, huge thanks to everyone with water bowls out in town. #dogs #dogsofbluesky

While out walking the pup, I saw what absolutely, positively must be the last "spring" cherry blossoms of the year. The tree is a sapling, and I think it got confused, but... 🌸, nonetheless.

Google's ad targeting usually works OK. But their Nest Home gizmo seems to have me pegged as a Spanish speaker interested in construction equipment rentals, college loans, and cheap wireless plans. Feels like they have my profile crossed with someone else's, which would be... bad?
