As for "disempowering artists" I agree that r34's AI slop problem is at an all time high, but I think overall people who have (and are likely to) support artists will continue doing so, as do I despite using it on silly ideas that don't fit into my commission budget (as much as I wish they did lol)

Well you're right that LLMs use a lot of energy, but recent studies (like this www.nature.com/articles/s41...) show that their carbon impact can be lower than manual labor (especially in the US). They still have to make them more efficient, but it's more nuanced than "AI bad" on that angle, at least

Like I mostly just think "hmm what if these two similar characters swapped outfits" and then bam, I make it happen without going through the demonstrably not enjoyable (for my brain wiring) learning process.

Tried a few times to learn to draw (normally/drawabox/wtv) but just never found it fun (undiagnosed ADHD didnt help).Now with work taking up a lot I'd rather dedicate my free time to stuff I enjoy, like writing.Do you think its wrong for people to use it for just goofy stuff with no profit in mind?

The P4 anime is basically "What if you follow a guide to get every S Link and whatnot in one go?" Squeezing as much as you can out of that transfer year as possible. I think the anime portrayed that very well, and I love the OVA for it because I kind of felt like Yu after finishing the game.
