Plus her character was so weak. Her death was so cliche and lame and served no purpose. He set it up that she’s intelligent and outspoken and then just doesn’t do anything with it. I kept waiting for it to happen and make the movie more interesting and then she just died instead! Let her fuck!!!

It was so frustrating because it was all set up, it could have made the story so much more interesting. Elizabeth and her fiancé don’t even do anything of consequence the entire film! And it’s Guillermo Del Toro, come ON. How can this, lead to nothing??
