Idk that America is hell already, but American Democracy fell already. We officially lost our "longest living democracy" the last time tRump was in office. We're unlikely to get it back anytime soon.

I prefer physical books (6 7' tall bookshelves and still counting 😅), though I do also own a B&N Nook! B&N have promised never to ban any book, & so far, they've held on strong.

Well, maybe not biodiversity loss. That takes both contentious effort & time.

I frequently take on my father & my FiL. I convince them EACH TIME of the truth of my points, w/ evidence & everything. And then, some days later, it's like the convos never happened.
Granted, FiL isn't as far right as he used to be, & my dad never went super right, but it sure gets frustrating!
