To support the proposal, first, I presented the result of the network analysis of moral and positive psychological indicators. The network showed that moral psychological indicators, i.e., empathy, moral identity and reasoning, are inseparable from purpose indicators. (2/3)

The result will provide useful insights into how different functional components of moral functioning interact with each other and which component(s) shall be set as the target(s) of educational programs and interventions to promote moral development. (4/5)

The estimated network shows that empathy (empathic concern in particular) and purpose predicted other variables associated with affective, cognitive, and motivational aspects of moral functioning, i.e., moral identity, moral reasoning, and moral growth mindset. (3/5)

Given most of previous studies employed analysis methods examining correlation, not causality, the methodological distinctiveness mentioned above would support the uniqueness of the current study in the field. (2/5)
