I think one of the big reasons for the fear isn't so much that MAGA are civilians with guns but they are also people in law enforcement and in political power. It's not just the violence against them but also families and friends.

I don't know what to tell you buddy but that's exactly what he's hoping for. He's hoping to either start a civil war or a war with another country in order to sneak in more GOP power and call it "national security" he wants a situation where he can get his followers to keep him in power longer

Something that I don't see them pointing out is that the systems put in place make it impossible for any illegal to even get federal help. There are dozens of applications/forms that require an SSN to even begin the process of requesting assistance.
