I have less than one month in Antarctica this season. So far, it’s been a huge and successful effort to open stream gages, collect stream and glacier samples, calibrate instruments, filter samples, and much more. So grateful to be here, challenge myself, and learn from some incredible scientists!

I feel incredibly fortunate to contribute to the long-term monitoring of streams and glaciers in the Dry Valleys as well as collect my own glacial core samples in Antarctica. It’s been strenuous days but extremely rewarding and special. Looking forward to the next two months out here!
