At least it's dlc you can listen to before buying, if you enjoy a majority of the songs it'll probably be worth it. Game is amazing and that's coming from someone who doesn't play rhythm games often

My point is, don't put pressure on yourself to singlehandedly try and "revive" the platformer genre. Platformers are always gonna appear not popular since they're usually not mainstream due to them being single player, but we all silently appreciate them, and look forward to playing your works.

What time would you consider to be the "golden age" of 3D platformers? For me it's always every couple years (usually Nintendo) releases a really good Mario game and in between those games I find indie titles whether it be A Hat in Time, Penny's Big Breakaway, Demon Turf, etc.

Unfortunately not really, especially because if there is an issue in the relationship, you should be solving it together as solving problems is a sign of a healthy relationship. Taking a break to me is putting off the problem for later, but I'm not an expert.
