yup - i had friends who immediately turned it back on me for "leading them on", and then the person pressured really close friends of mine to stop hanging out with me, just bc i didnt wanna date them :/

this thread just hit me pretty hard. ive had entire friend groups upturned because i broke up with someone or turned them down.. and had an ex so obsessed with me that i had to keep my current relationship secret and got shamed out of sharing my joy

i don't feel the need to just Tell Everyone but being able to casually mention it on social media would be nice. or just generally not being hypervigilant about how and where i talk about it
