Was at a moth night last night, dry weather, and not too bad on the moth front! 😀 Lesser yellow Underwing, Dusty Thorn and Brimstone? #TeamMoth
Light from moth trap on top of black box, were the moths will hide under egg boxes until we take a look, all setting on a white sheet. With table and more light in the background with books and other moth information. Large light brown/ yellow moth, in a pot. Wings open small moth, mainly yellow with grey/brownish markings on wings, in a pot. Small moth, yellowish green, with brown along the wing edges, seating on a blue egg box, which was in the moth trap.

Spent some time at Church Lane in Epping yesterday and saw loads of Marbled White butterflies, a Ringlet and a Cinnabar moth #Teambutterfly #Teammoth

Is spring just around the corner? This lovely yellow primrose seen today 😊
Pale to deep yellow with darker orange centres. The single flowers have five notched petals. With dark green wrinkly leaves forming a rosette at the plants base.

A delightful walk around Lee Valley Park popped into the Wildlife Discovery Centre and went up the viewing tower at Fishers Green #Winterwalks
