Yeah. Looking more into it it doesn’t seem *that* much better than DDG and I can easily turn off their ads and AI features. If Kagi had a free version that nixed the AI assistant but allowed unlimited searching I’d consider it, but not at present where I’m already trying to cull subscriptions.

I'm now remembering a trailer where it looked like the construct was flying to take down a Gleeok in the sky and I thought it was just for a cutscene but maybe that's also gameplay. If so I am very in.

I’ve read elsewhere that that is exactly what happened. I’m paraphrasing but apparently Pages came over to check to see if he was okay and Kiké went “Fuck that do you have the ball?”
