Possibly but UK Naval capabilities are vastly more independent than its Ground and Aerial capabilities. It wouldn't be unreasonable for the UK to complete this project scope without assistance.

No, absolutely not. I work in Defence and Europe will rollover.
NATO will likely become a pale version of itself.
However expect significant change in foreign policy. All European media will sound the alarms that Europe needs arms and unity.

Ukraine needs defences to drones but they also need to produce what is useful. Ukraine has alot of projects going on all at once.

Because European arms are coming. But it's going to take time to ramp up. So re-armement is trying to manage both having weapons now and having Euro weapons later. It's unfortunate but needed

British F-35 use British Electronics and access to computer systems from London.
So the F-35 fleet is insulated, not that this should mean we should support F-35 programmes and should aim for more European frames.
