Found a polyphemus moth in the middle of the road, probably removed from leaf litter and ended up run over.
If you got leaf litter, find a good place to step it aside if you can, tons of cool animals rely on it to survive through winter

Anyone have any guesses?
Tons of these particles were found in the stomachs of fish after the 4th of July. None had them before that date.
There's a little bit in the water column as well. Most are VERY small <100micrometers. Very present in fish guts
