Summary: sinners is a must watch. It does the simple things well and it makes the complex things simple. It pays attention to detail to an almost maniacal extent and is a true masterclass in showing instead of telling.

Antagonist: The antagonist was a deeply complex character, not bound by any connection to race but by his need to fulfil his baser urges as a vampire. He was offended at any association with the white man, and understood and appreciated the need for freedom.

Costumes, CGI & Accents: everything was perfect. CGI only where necessary, most effects were practical or make up.
The accents were very accurate albeit watered down so we could understand.

Characters: I loved the smoke stack dynamic. I loved the fact that I could tell the difference between them without any visual cues, they had the same hair and clothes, but I could tell what each could do and would do. Also the chemistry between love interests was electric.

Story: The story was simple, but very deeply layered. It treated me like an adult, ie it showed me more than it told me, only time there was exposition was to tell other characters what to do. It was not linear but it was not convoluted either. Also, The movie could not be undone by the plot holes.

Music: Ludwig goransson created a masterpiece, the mashing of the eras, the soul in the voices and the music, absolutely amazing.

Feel: it made me feel. I felt like I was part of an experience, it made me feel connected to.the characters, like I had a minority stake in their lives and the bar.

Campari is the worst thing in the world
