Glad the India-Aussie-Canada AI deal includes another 5 eyes partner - keep a close watch on all the security/development of what comes out of the deal. Smart!

Right, that is why what Carney is doing is so important- even if it is with less than desirable trading partners. We HAVE to move away from the US as much as possible.

US controls the software in F35’s - Canada would be at their mercy for updates. Not good if we are hoping to protect ourselves from them. I’ve also heard (not sure if true) that US has ‘kill’ switches to disable them??

We have to be strong ourselves before we can help others. I just moved back to Canada after working in states for 30 years. My son and grandkids are still here. I am fearful for them; their mom is Hispanic. Canadians have to be a bit selfish for now. Protect ourselves first.

That is why Carney is there. We need monetary power & operational independence - there are not that many democratic partners that can build us up as quickly as we need to. We can not sit back as Americans did & let their power slip away. I know, I was down there & watched all of it happening.
