Just because this is common doesn’t make it OK. The method we use for waterfowl hunting is flawed. I’d love to see research how many geese are maimed for every goose that is killed.

Watching bats eat or drink never gets old. This little lad was disturbed during hibernation due to construction. Sleeping always makes them thirsty.

Good News Story: Wisdom returns to Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge bringing more Thanksgiving joy to the Midway Atoll staff who celebrate witnessing Wisdom reaching at least 74 years old this coming winter. Wisdom, a mōlī (Laysan albatross), is the world's oldest known, banded bird.
