The Japanese cast of Six are performing at the Vaudeville Theatre in London this week. If you're in London this week, you have to go see it! It's absolutely phenomenal!

What isn't unexpected, however, is the Red Candle discord's reaction lol

In yet another unexpected twist, the Nine Sols ARG has given us a...Minecraft server...?

I've been looking up Japanese videos on Brompton bicycles recently and discovered that the word for a long leisurely bike ride is literally "pottering" ポタリング. I didn't expect such a britishism to become a part of the Japanese language lol

Here's how to play the new ARG

Here's a map for the Nine Sols ARG for those who need it!

Every time I read Terry Pratchett, I'm reminded of how I'll never write half as well as he did

www.cinemarama.org/archives/164 because I had to sate my curiosity, there are different translations for the dub and sub. The translation in the OP is from the dub, it would appear. The sub unfortunately is far more boring in comparison

Outstanding

Just realised I need to update this now that I don't have DMs anymore and I am sure as hell not going to do verification lol

Today's biking adventure was a loop of local train stations on the Cotswolds Main Line. Finstock, Charlbury and Ascott-under-Wychwood

If you ever go biking in the Cotswolds, get an e-bike. It's near constant hills and slopes, even though they're very green and pretty

Bleach was the first anime/manga that got me into anime/manga fandom, so yeah, 17 year old me would have his mind blown if he could time-travel to the present day and see his name in the credits of a Bleach game. It's good to see Rebirth of Souls finally out after all this time!

I've been kinda scared to see how much my stuff got edited in Pirate Yakuza, but I finally got round to checking out the substories I did initial translation for, and Jesus Christ, I actually remembering coming up with "post-combo clarity"

Eight years ago, when I started playing the Yakuza games, I never could've imagined that I'd become a JE translator, let alone translate on a Yakuza/Like a Dragon game, but yeah, this is somehow real!!! I was a translator on Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii!!!

It turns out that Taito made an Elevator Action light gun cabinet that's not only vertically orientated but also has closing and opening elevator doors with a 2nd screen up top for cutscenes and buttons for closing the doors and going up or down floors. This is the arcade find of my trip so far

If you ever stay in Osaka for holiday, I highly recommend going to Sakai and visiting the Shimano Bicycle Museum. It's a really well designed, engaging museum that's accessible but also really in-depth if you want go deeper

There's a physical speedometer and indicator light you have to pay attention to outside the screen, and the seat vibrates with each bump of the railroad you pass through. You even get a little hat and suit to wear to make you feel like a real train driver. Just wonderful

Yesterday at Taito Station in Osaka-Nipponbashi, I found heaven on earth. I've played Densha De Go 1 and 2 on Saturn and Dreamcast respectively, but I never realised how wonderfully tactile the arcade machines are. The controls have a lovely metal finish that makes them feel authentic.
