I love how clearly the fangs were drawn in as an afterthought.

M&A is never good for customers.

This used to be standard packaging for Amazon in the U.S., too. The cardboard would be glued to the inside of the box to prevent the contents from rattling around without need for filler material. It was such a protective and efficient system.

A lot of CG looked better in the 00s than it does now.

Ok, the more you describe the problem the more it sounds like a problem. I can see why it would be unfulfilling to be forced down a path based on how you chose to allocate skill points hours earlier.

I don't know, I think both ways are valid. Allowing the player to respec grants flexibility and freedom to experiment. Disallowing it makes choices more consequential.

Those faces look awful, like they're in rictus from too much Botox. Are all of the RE CG movies like this?

Nintendo isn't hurting itself at all. It's only, as it always does, hurting fans. The impact of any backlash to key cards to Nintendo's bottom line is infinitesimal.

Even with an abundance of heart and good faith, using crowdfunding to keep a distressed studio afloat is not likely to end well.

Shenmue reference was not on my TGA bingo card.

Bleach her hair blonde and she'd be a dead ringer for every female talking head on Fox "News."

That sounds cool, though.

God, I hope so.

It's a loot or extraction shooter. You may not want to believe it, but the more cosmically dunderheaded the guess is, the more likely it is to be right.

It always having been this way is what lets me be sanguine that it will pass, as it has before.

You believe that the Star Wars fandom is *less* reactionary? We may not be able to move on from Kirk, but at least the Star Trek fandom allows him to be recast instead of freezing him in amber as a CG model. Ok, that may partly be due to only one franchise having a bottomless coffer, but still.

Maybe it's an NFT. I can imagine a 140-year old company jumping onto a bandwagon that's already a smouldering husk.

For sure.

Nixxes has long been known to do good work, and I don't want to diminish their accomplishment here, but I don't think we can be certain how much of this is optimization wizardry vs. just doing the dirty work of cleaning up utter carelessness.

Nintendo fans must be rending their shirts in rage and agony this morning on learning that MP4's Metacritic score is hovering around 80.

Base Persona 5 is a polished, complete experience. There's nothing in the game to suggest that content was withheld for a later revision. Just because an expanded version of a game is released doesn't mean that the original was released unfinished.

I guess that explains the Roman Polanski cameo.

I mean, this is the series that pit Gary Cole against Gary Busey. This latest celebrity ET is tame by comparison.

That long stretch where Trek was paradoxically avoiding the future was a bad time, to be sure, but between that on one hand and the Ori arc on the other... well, it's a no-win scenario, if you will.
